News Playwrights Horizon & Women's Project Team for a Change, Feb. 10-March 7 The Women's Project teams up with Off-Broadway's Playwrights Horizons to premiere the latest by playwright Marlane Meyer, The Chemistry of Change. The production will be helmed by Lisa Peterson (Collected Stories at MTC, and SLAVS!) and take place at N.Y.'s Theatre Four, Feb. 10-March 7, 1999 with an official opening Feb. 21.

The Women's Project teams up with Off-Broadway's Playwrights Horizons to premiere the latest by playwright Marlane Meyer, The Chemistry of Change. The production will be helmed by Lisa Peterson (Collected Stories at MTC, and SLAVS!) and take place at N.Y.'s Theatre Four, Feb. 10-March 7, 1999 with an official opening Feb. 21.

In Chemistry, matriarch of the family Lee (played by Tony winner Carlin Glynn), finds a new way to provide for her children: marrying rich men, then living off the divorce settlements. On her way to marrying husband number 10, she falls in love for the first time.

Other plays by Meyer include: Etta Jenks, Kingfish, The Geometry of Luck, and Moe's Lucky Seven. Her work has been produced by the Public, London's Royal Court, Steppenwolf, and South Coast Rep.

Starring alongside Glynn will be : Christopher Innvar (Floyd Collins, Les Miserables), Hamish Linklater (Love's Fire), Larry Pine (Angels in America, Bus Stop), Barry Del Sherman (Moe's Lucky Seven), Jodi Thelen (Brighton Beach Memoirs) and Brenda Wehle.
