The second Portland Jazz Festival, from February 11-20, 2005, will feature vocalist Dianne Reeves, the festival announced.

The festival is expanding after its successful weekend-long inaugural installment this past February, and is adding late-night weekend jam sessions and a dedicated "jazz train" running from Seattle to Portland.

Also scheduled to appear are Brazilian singer Luciana Souza, the jazz-rock group the Bad Plus, and three top bassists: Charlie Haden, Dave Holland, and John Patitucci. Steel drummer Andy Narell and Calypsociation will make their North American debut.
