Mozhan Marnò's When the Lights Went Out, directed by Kate Whoriskey, will feature Laura Innes ("ER"), Cotter Smith (Next Fall, An American Daughter), Sheila Vand (Argo, Bengal Tiger…) and Russell G. Jones (The Power of Duff, Ruined). It runs July 17-28.
A new musical inspired by The Brooklyn Hero Supply Company, featuring a book by Simon Rich, music and lyrics by Peter Lerman and direction by Michael Mayer (Spring Awakening, American Idiot), will feature Doyle (Book of Mormon, Spring Awakening), Andrew Call (Rock of Ages, American Idiot), Gerard Canonico (Spring Awakening, American Idiot), Glick (Spiderman, Spring Awakening), Alice Lee (Spiderman, Spring Awakening) and Nadia Quinn (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson). It runs July 26-28.
The cast for Found, featuring a book by Bell ([title of show]) and Lee Overtree, with music and lyrics by Eli Bolin, includes Blaemire (Godspell, Dogfight), Sandy Rustin (Sarah, Plain and Tall), Daniel Franzese ("Mean Girls"), Morgan (Les Miserables, A Little Night Music) and Remy Zakin (Spring Awakening). Overtree directs. It runs July 12-14.
Casting has also been announced for James Lecesne's Mother of Invention, starring Tony Award winner Linda Lavin (The Lyons, Collected Stories). Michael Wilson directs the play that will also include Rachel Resheff (Mary Poppins, Billy Elliot) and Susan Pourfar (Tribes, In the Wake). It runs July 19-21.
