The July 27 presentation of While I Yet Live, a new work by Billy Porter (Grease, Miss Saigon), will feature Bryan Terrell Clark, Susan Heyward, Larry Marshall, S. Epatha Merkerson, Myra Lucretia Taylor, Shona Tucker, Akilah Walker and Sharon Washington.
The Debate Society's July 28 staging of Untitled World's Fair Play will include Pun Bandhu, Griffin Birney, Hannah Bos, Jim Poulos, Reg Rogers and Corey Sullivan; later in the day, Ron Lagomarsino's Jerome will be staged with cast members Chris Bauer, Michael Chernus, Robert Clohessy, Peter Gerety and Eric Gold.
Nathan Englander's The Twenty-Seventh Man, which will play the Public Theater this coming season, will feature Ross Carmichael, Robert Dorfman, Daniel Oreskes, Richard Poe, Ron Rifkin and Noah Robbins. Barry Edelstein will direct the July 29 presentation.
The final reading will be the new musical A Separate Peace, penned by Tony Award winner Warren Leight (Side Man) and composer Todd Almond (We Have Always Lived in the Castle) and directed by Stafford Arima on July 29. The cast includes Jessica Barr, Richard Cerato, Pierce Cravens, Curt Hansen, Brian Charles Johnson, Julia Mattison, Matt McGrath, Gabrielle Stravelli and Christopher Wood.
