The leading Australian cabaret act, Combo Fiasco, is heading to New York's Eighty-Eights later this year with the first international engagement. In the meantime Melbourne audiences are enjoying the artistry of the three talented performers at Caper's Dinner Restaurant.
Combo Fiasco features vocalists Shaun Murphy and Tony McGill, both at the piano, with Sharon Millerchip, the young actress-singer-dancer who continually rises as a leading theatrical identity. Soon to take centre-stage at her own wedding, Millerchip has enchanted audiences as Meg in The Phantom of the Opera, Little Red Riding Hood in Into the Woods and Belle in the Sydney production of Beauty and the Beast.
A beloved trio in Australian theatrical circles, Combo Fiasco have developed their following through the release of their CD and popular appearances on national television. Their repertoire ranges from soul to theatre standards, including a sublime Sondheim medley and a wicked satire of Phantom, the show which brought the three together.
