Broadway News Pretty Woman: The Musical to Launch Digital Lottery A limited number of $42 tickets will be available via online lottery beginning September 11.

Pretty Woman: The Musical will launch a digital lottery offering a limited number of $42 tickets beginning September 11. The online lottery will be open from 9 AM to 2 PM for evening performances, and will open at 9 PM the evening prior and close at 9 AM on the day of matinee performances.

Winners of the discounted Broadway tickets will be notified by email shortly after each drawing and will have 60 minutes to claim and pay for tickets online. Tickets can be picked up 30 minutes prior to show time at the theatre with photo ID. Maximum is two tickets per entry.

Pretty Woman: The Musical celebrated its official opening on Broadway at the Nederlander Theatre August 16. Directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell, the contemporary stage adaptation of the popular 1990 romantic comedy stars Samantha Barks as Vivian alongside Andy Karl as Edward.

Based on the Julia Roberts-Richard Gere movie about a star-crossed meeting between a sex worker and a disillusioned businessman, Pretty Woman: The Musical features a book co-written by the film’s director, the late Garry Marshall, and screenwriter J.F. Lawton, and music by Grammy winner Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance.

Completing the principal cast on Broadway are Orfeh as Kit, Eric Anderson as Mr. Thompson, Ezra Knight as James Morse, and Jason Danieley as Philip Stuckey.

The company also features Allison Blackwell, Tommy Bracco, Brian Calì, Robby Clater, Jessica Crouch, Nico DeJesus, Anna Eilinsfeld, Matt Farcher, Lauren Lim Jackson,Renée Marino, Ellyn Marie Marsh, Jillian Mueller, Jake Odmark, Jennifer Sanchez, Matthew Stocke, Alex Michael Stoll, Alan Wiggins, Jesse Wildman Foster, and Darius Wright.

The original Broadway cast recording for Pretty Woman: The Musical will be available from Atlantic Records digitally September 21.
