Playwrights Horizons and 92YTribeca will present a panel discussion titled "New Plays, Tough Times" — featuring the eight dramatists who are writing for the current season of Playwrights Horizons — at 92YTribeca on Sept. 10.

Moderated by Time Out New York's theatre editor and chief drama critic David Cote, the 7:30 PM panel discussion will be at 92YTribeca, at 200 Hudson Street.

The panel "will offer a first-look at the award-winning theatre company's season line-up and represents a unique opportunity to catch eight gifted artists…offering insights into their creative processes and answering questions from the audience."

The eight writers are:

  • Daniel Goldfarb (Modern Orthodox, Adam Baum and the Jew Movie, Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me), whose play The Retributionists kicks off the new season with its world Premiere, beginning previews Aug. 21, produced in association with South Ark Stage.
