PlayBlog Preview to the 40th Anniversary Edition of "Fiddler on the Roof" (Video) "Fiddler on the Roof: 40th Anniversary" is set to hit shelves on Blu-ray and DVD April 5.

The film was originally released in November 1971 and starred Chaim Topol as Tevye and earned three Academy Awards and two Golden Globes. "Fiddler on the Roof" has been remastered for Blu-ray and comes with bonus features that include an audio commentary by director Norman Jewison and star Topol, a deleted song, several featurettes and the historical background of the film.
