Sardi's son, David Sardi, and Sardi's daughter, Etsko Tazaki, an internationally acclaimed pianist, will also appear during the event, which will include performances and reminiscences. Donald Sadler will provide staging.

Sardi, the owner of the famed theatre-district restaurant Sardi's on West 44th Street, passed away Jan. 4 at the age of 91.

In its heyday, Sardi's was the watering hole for all of Broadway, and the walls are lined with framed caricatures of Broadway greats. Sardi took over the restaurant when his father retired in 1947. He sold it in 1985 but resumed ownership in 1990, and ran it until he retired in 1997 to live in Warren, VT.

Prince has racked up 20 Tony Awards as a director and producer and will direct LoveMusik on Broadway this spring. Stritch's numerous Broadway acting credits range from Bus Stop to the original Company to A Delicate Balance to her Tony-winning solo show Elaine Stritch At Liberty.

The Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre is located at 236 West 45th Street.
