The Prince of Wales and his companion Camilla Parker Bowles paid a visit to the London Palladium Oct. 31 to see the stage musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Unfortunately, it was Halloween, and the car collided with a major piece of stage machinery, resulting in the cancellation of the performance shortly before the interval.
Patrons have been offered replacement tickets, and the Nov. 1 performance will go ahead as planned.
It's reported that Prince Charles and Mrs. Parker Bowles hope to return to see the show again.
