Also cast are Larry Keith, Hal Robinson, Shana Dowdeswell, Megan Lewis and Malcom Morano.

As previously reported, the reading will include never-before-heard tunes by the late Styne. Don Black (Bombay Dreams, Sunset Boulevard) will revise his own lyrics and David Thompson (Steel Pier, adaptation for the current Chicago) is adapting Jack Rosenthal's original book.

The musical, which went up in London's West End in 1978, was adapted from Rosenthal's 1977 BBC-television play.

The Styne estate has given permission to the new version, which will include never-before-heard Styne tunes that were not necessarily originally intended for Bar Mitzvah Boy. David Loud (Curtains, Steel Pier, Ragtime, A Class Act) is the music director and musical arranger. Black will write lyrics to the new tunes in addition to revising old lyrics.

Stafford Arima (Altar Boyz, London's Ragtime, the new musical Ace) is directing the reading. Michael Gennaro, president and CEO of the Paper Mill Playhouse, is producing. The musical was never on Broadway, but the American Jewish Theatre produced the musical in 1987 at New York City's 92nd Street Y.

Prince's Broadway credits include Noises Off, Bells Are Ringing (Tony nomination), James Joyce's The Dead, Little Me, The King and I, Guys and Dolls (Tony Award), What's Wrong With This Picture?, Nick and Nora and Jerome Robbins' Broadway (Tony nomination).

Reichard is currently starring as Bob Gaudio in Jersey Boys. His other credits include Keith Haring in Radiant Baby at the Public Theater and The Thing About Men at the Promenade Theatre.

Friedman has appeared on Broadway in Ragtime (Tony nomination), The Heidi Chronicles, Twelve Angry Men, among many other shows.

Keith has appeared on Broadway in Caroline, or Change, Cabaret, Titanic, Gigi, High Spirits and the original My Fair Lady. Robinson's Broadway credits include Cabaret, Grand Hotel, Nick & Nora and Broadway.
