The production is directed by Mike Steers, who is also the set and lighting designer. The cast includes Bretten Burger, Bragan Thomas, Robert Junker, Mark Weinress and Titus Ulrich.

Bent, according to press notes, is the "story of the survival of the Human Spirit. Set in Berlin in 1934 on the morning after the Nazi incursion, Max and his lover, Rudy, are recovering from a night of debauchery with an SA Trooper. Two soldiers burst into their apartment and slit their guest's throat. Forced on the run, the two begin their journey to safety. Desperate and alone, they contact Max's Uncle Freddy, a discreet 'fluff,' for help. While planning their escape, the lovers are caught and put on a transport train to the death camps. On the train Max meets Horst, a 'Pink Triangle' who advises Max how to survive transport. Rudy is beaten to death. Max and Horst are taken to the Dachau Work Camp. Max and Horst hope to survive and rely on each other for comfort and courage."

Director Steers said in a previous statement, “A lot of people don’t know much about this facet of the Holocaust. This piece gives meaning to the Pink Triangle; it’s not just about being a big queer! I chose to do it now, considering all that’s going on in Russia and Uganda. This is a timely piece.”

The creative team also includes production manager Sunie Pope, stage manager Neal Fitzgerald, costume designer Phoebe Otis and sound designer Sam Sewell.
