With city-wide MTA transit suspended since the evening of Oct. 28 and New Yorker's bracing for the worst of the storm to arrive later this evening, representatives for the Public announced that all productions, including programming at Joe's Pub, have been canceled.

Mayor Bloomberg has not announced if mass transit will be running as of Oct. 30, but the severe weather forecast for Hurricane Sandy will likely keep it shut down for the next 24 hours.

Giant is the new musical featuring a score by Michael John LaChiusa and a book by Sybille Pearson; Fun Home, which is playing a sold-out run at the Public, has a score by Jeanine Tesori and a book by Lisa Kron; Wild With Happy is the latest play from Tony Award-nominated actor-playwright Colman Domingo.

The Public has not announced if the Nov. 6 opening night of Nelson's U.S. Election Day-set drama Sorry will be affected by the schedule delay.
