The reading of SSA (Ass Backwards) will be presented at 11:30 PM at the intimate cabaret located within Joe’s Pub. The cast for the one-night-only event — presented by Jamie McGonnigal — is set to include Ryan Watkinson, Ryan Nealy, Jason Michael Snow and Danny Binstock. SSA (Ass Backwards) features a score by Nick Blaemire and a book by James Gardiner. The musical, according to press notes, tells the story of “four best friends who return to their old high school football field a year after they've graduated, and try to pick up where they left off. What begins as a night of reminiscing and pranks quickly turns into an emotional journey that tests the limits of their friendship, and their willingness to admit that they've changed.”
