News Queer Songbook Offers The Songs and Music of Lance Horne Sept. 25 The ever-busy Nancy Anderson, who recently celebrated the release of her debut solo recording "Ten Cents a Dance," is one of the performers scheduled to be part of the Sept. 25 concert The Songs and Music of Lance Horne.

The 7 PM evening is part of the Queer Songbook series and is being presented at the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center. In addition to Anderson the concert also features the talents of Todd Buonopane, Nathan Graham and composer Horne. Lance Horne created vocal arrangements for the Broadway musical Little Women. He was a contributing composer to Songs from an Unmade Bed (New York Theater Workshop) and penned the incidental music for The Melting Pot production of Flight (Lucille Lortel Theatre). His band, Lance Horne & The One Night Stands, will release a live album this spring.

Nancy Anderson was most recently seen on Broadway as Eileen Sherwood in the revival of Wonderful Town. She made her Broadway debut as Mona in A Class Act and starred in the West End production of Kiss Me, Kate as Lois/Bianca. Off-Broadway she was seen in Fanny Hill, Jolson & Co. and Fables in Slang. Anderson's regional theatre credits include Fanny Hill, Nicolette and By Jeeves.
