The event is the third in the "Public Talks" series presented as part of the company's 50th anniversary season. It will take place at 7 PM. Reservations, which are required, can be made by calling (212) 260-2400. Rabe, Guare and Kramer have all seen their work produced at the Public. Akalaitis was artistic director of the nonprofit for a short time after founder Joseph Papp's death.

Among the topics to be discussed are Joe Papp's notorious public battle with Robert Moses over the use of Central Park's Delacorte Theatre for free Shakespeare and the premiere of Kramer's AIDS drama The Normal Heart.
