To celebrate the upcoming release, screenings of the DVD will be held at Don't Tell Mama in November. Each screening will feature one complete cabaret act shown on a wide screen.

Screenings are scheduled for Nov. 2 at 6:30 PM and 9:15 PM and Nov. 3 at 6:30 PM and 9:15 PM.

Each of the four screenings will feature a different guest speaker, who were all good friends of the late singer: cabaret director Erv Raible (Nov. 2 at 6:30 PM), musical director/pianist Rick Jensen (Nov. 2 at 9:15 PM), attorney Mark Sendroff (Nov. 3 at 6:30 PM) and singers Lina Koutrakous and Nancy Timpanaro (Nov. 3 at 9:15 PM). Koutrakous will also serve as the waitress for all four screenings.

A $100 ticket price includes the screening of the cabaret act; a question-and-answer session with well-known guest speakers who were there at the time; a copy of the DVD, weeks before its public release; two glasses of wine, beer or soda; and a chance to purchase other Nancy LaMott CDs and DVDs at a discounted price.

Nancy LaMott was beloved by fans for a voice that could be soft and sweet one minute and big and belty the next. Many critics agreed she also possessed a remarkable ability to find the emotional center of any song, bringing a lyric to life as honestly as possible. LaMott's solo recording credits included "Beautiful Baby," "Come Rain or Come Shine: The Songs of Johnny Mercer," "My Foolish Heart," "Just in Time for Christmas" and "Listen to My Heart" as well as the posthumously issued "What's Good About Goodbye?," "Nancy LaMott—Live at Tavern on the Green" and "Ask Me Again." LaMott died in 1995 at the age of 43. Only 60 tickets to each of these events are available; to order visit http://www.NancyTickets.com.
