Michael Cates (Blue Man Group), Robert Hogan (A Few Good Men), Charlotte Parry (Howard Katz) and Peter Scanavino (Shining City) star in Farquhar's work, which originally premiered as part of London's Royal Court Theatre's 50th anniversary season. The American premiere – presented by The Play Company – is directed by Will Frears (The Water's Edge). Rainbow Kiss will officially open March 22 at 59E59 Theaters and run through April 13.

Set in Aberdeen, Scotland, Rainbow Kiss, according to production notes, "starts with a kiss and ends in blood. Keith, raising his infant son alone while holding down a dead-end job, stakes his future on a one-night stand with Shazza, an upwardly mobile beautician he meets at a club. She has a master plan and he doesn't belong. Yet she keeps coming back for more."

Creative duties are handled by Thomas Lynch (set design), Sarah Beers (costume design), Tyler Micoleau (lighting design) and Drew Levy (sound design).
