News Ralph Fiennes to Return to London Stage to Star in George Bernard Shaw's Man and Superman Ralph Fiennes, who can currently be seen on screen in "The Grand Budapest Hotel" and "The Invisible Woman" (the latter of which he also directed), is to return to the National Theatre next spring to star as John Tanner in George Bernard Shaw's Man and Superman.

No dates have been announced, but a spokesperson for the National Theatre confirmed the news to Playbill.com that was first reported in the U.K.'s Daily Mail.

The production, which will be seen on the National's Lyttelton stage, is to be directed by Simon Godwin, who made his NT directing debut with O'Neill's Strange Interlude last year and is an associate director at the Royal Court.

Fiennes has previously appeared at the National in Oedipus, The Talking Cure, Six Characters in Search of an Author, Fathers and Sons and Ting Tang Mine.
