Randy Rollison, co-founder and artistic director of HOME for Contemporary Theatre and Art and co-founder and co-director of HERE, both in New York City, is now producing director at Cleveland Public Theatre.
Rollison, a graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts graduate acting program, will work with CPT founding artistic director James Levin on long-range planning, budgeting and programming issues.
Rollison founded HOME in an abandoned Tribeca storefront in 1986. As producing artistic director there, he helped bring more than 300 plays to the stage. He worked with Tony Kushner, Marcia Gay Harden, John Leguizamo, Craig Lucas and others. In 1993, HOME merged with Tiny Mythic Theater Company to form HERE, a multi-arts center in SoHo, in Manhattan.
The Cleveland Public presents resident Off-Off Broadway-style productions and hosts a new plays festival, a film festival, varied guest artists and musicians throughout the year.
