News Rapp and Shinn Are Bad Boys of Off-Broadway at the Orbach The Off-Broadway Alliance will present its first in a series of planned seminars "focusing on the culture, business and history of Off Broadway theatre" Feb. 28 at the Snapple Theater Center's Jerry Orbach Theater.

The afternoon, entitled The Bad Boys of Off-Broadway, will feature playwrights Adam Rapp (Nocturne, Ghosts In the Cottonwoods, Red Light Winter, American Sligo) and Christopher Shinn (Dying City, Where Do We Live, Four, What Didn't Happen) with additional participants to be named. Time Out drama critic David Cote will moderate. The free discussion is scheduled for 12:30-2 PM.

"How exciting for us and for the Off-Broadway community to have two outstanding playwrights as part of our first Off Broadway Alliance seminar," said Peter Breger, chair of The Alliance, in a statement. "The seminar is perfect for anyone with an interest in Off-Broadway, from the theatregoer to the professional practitioner."
