Rapp directs his own work, which will officially open Nov. 9 at the company's downtown home. The show is scheduled to run through Dec. 22. Bingo with the Indians centers on "a disgruntled East Village theater company [who] descends upon a small New England town with a plan to pay for their next production — heist the local bingo game," according to show notes. "It's a play about a hungry young downtown company being done by a hungry young downtown company – that's perfect," said Rapp in a release.

Playing the rabid troupe are The Flea's resident acting company The Bats: Cooper Daniels, Corinne Donly, Evan Enderle, Ben Horner, Jessica Pohly, Missel Leddington, Rob Yang, Todd Bartels, Dan Cozzens, Anthony Crep, Carol Ann Foley, Jill Leithauser and Morgan Reis.

The design team includes John McDermott (set), Miranda Hardy (lights), Daphne Javitch (costumes) and Brandon Wolcott (sound).

Rapp made his Off-Broadway directorial debut with his own Red Light Winter (a 2006 Pulitzer Prize finalist) and also staged Christopher Denham's cagelove at the Rattlestick Playwrights Theater. Last season, he directed Julian Sheppard's Los Angeles at The Flea. As a playwright, Rapp has penned the plays Nocturne, Stone Cold Dead Serious, Finer Noble Gases, Blackbird, Essential Self Defense, Gompers, Trueblinka and Faster.

The busy hyphenate has a number of upcoming projects coming to New York this season. His American Sligo recently made its world premiere at Rattlestick; The Metal Children will be part of the Vineyard Theatre's Lab Series; and he will take part in the "Stories on 5 Stories" benefit for Playwrights Horizons.
