According to the White Horse website, the theatre company will offer Williams' experimental 1968 play, In the Bar of a Tokyo Hotel, at the Abingdon Theater Arts Complex. Performances will begin Feb. 2, 2007, and play through Feb. 18.

White Horse artistic director Cyndy A. Marion will direct the play, which made its premiere in 1969 at the Eastside Playhouse. The Williams work is set in a bar and, according to the New York Times, depicts "the demise of a fictional American painter and his wife."

The cast for the limited engagement will include Laura Siner, Toshiji Takeshima, Niall O'Hegarty, Greg Homison and Larissa Laurel. The design team comprises Patrick Larsen (sets), Debra Leigh Siegel (lighting) and David B. Thompson (costumes) with incidental music by Joe Gianono.
