News Ravinia Festival to Feature Hearn in Happy Fella and Mitchell and Headley in Concert The 2007 Ravinia Festival at the famed Chicago venue will feature a one-night concert version of Frank Loesser's The Most Happy Fella directed by Marc Robin.

The July 20, 2007, performance will boast Tony Award winner George Hearn in the role of Tony with two-time Grammy winner Sylvia McNair as Rosabella and Rod Gilfry as Joe. Erich Kunzel will conduct the Ravinia Festival Orchestra.

The annual festival will also include a cabaret series entitled Martinis at the Martin. Those scheduled to perform include Tony Award winners Lillias White (June 4), Brian Stokes Mitchell (July 9) and Heather Headley (Aug. 20) as well as Hershey Felder in Gershwin Alone (Sept. 9).

Tickets for these performances will go on sale Dec. 1.

* For the past several seasons the Ravinia Festival has offered concert presentations of Stephen Sondheim musicals directed by Lonny Price and starring Tony Award winner Patti LuPone. Those musicals have included Sweeney Todd, A Little Night Music, Sunday in the Park with George, Passion, Anyone Can Whistle and Gypsy. The latter features music by Jule Styne.
