Zoe Kazan’s After the Blast celebrated its official opening Off-Broadway October 23 following previews that began October 7. The world-premiere production from LCT3 presents a future in which the earth has suffered a massive environmental disaster—humans have retreated underground, water is scarce, and fertility is regulated.
Lila Neugebauer directs a cast led by Tony Award nominee Cristin Milioti and William Jackson Harper, who play a couple with one last chance to have a baby. They are joined by Eboni Booth, Will Connolly, Ben Horner, David Pegram, and Teresa Yenque.
