Mixtape, press that state, is a series of "vignettes, the moments and songs that together shape the life of record-store owners, Thatcher and Louise. As they pack up inventory in the store’s final days, they take us through their shared story, track by track. Only as the project draws to a close, do we realize that for Louise, there is a more compelling reason behind making the mix. The greatest songs take on life and meaning beyond what the words and notes were written to convey."

Zoe Sarnak is a composer, lyricist and playwright. She graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University where her first show, The Quad, was produced in 2009.
