News Real-Life Theatre Couple Star in Springtime for Henry in Boston, May 16-June 15 The Huntington Theatre Company's upcoming production of Springtime for Henry will feature a real-life theatrical couple in the lead roles. Huntington artistic director Nicholas Martin directs the Benn Levy comedy for his Boston stage, May 16 to June 15.

Christopher Fitzgerald (Amour, Observe the Sons of Ulster...) and Jessica Stone (The Smell of the Kill, Design For Living) — real-life husband and wife — will star as romantic leads Henry Dewlip and his secretary Miss Smith in the Huntington production. Springtime for Henry focuses on the charming playboy who may just change his ways when he falls for his secretary.

Martin, who directed the recent Boston-to-Off-Broadway transfer of Observe the Sons of Ulster Marching Towards the Somme, will direct a cast that also includes Mia Barron and Jeremy Shamos. The design team for Springtime for Henry include James Noone (set), David Weiner (lights), Michael Krass (costumes), and Kurt Kellenberger (sound).

Actor Robert Sean Leonard was originally tapped to headline in this Huntington production, but bowed out for the upcoming Broadway production of Long Day's Journey Into Night.

London-born Levy's Springtime for Henry premiered on Broadway in 1931. The play was later adapted for the big screen in 1934.
