The play is the latest in an ongoing series of radio drama collaborations between the public radio program "The Next Big Thing" and the Naked Angels Theater Company. Ten After Eleven was inspired by the infamous March 13, 1964, murder of Catherine "Kitty" Genovese, in which Genovese, 28, was killed outside her apartment building, and neighbors failed to act, even though they heard her cries for help.

Playing Kitty’s neighbors will be Fisher Stevens, Lili Taylor, Marlo Thomas, Dan Lauria, John Benjamin Hickey, Denise Burse, Tracey Thom and Ray Anthony Thomas.

Ten After Eleven includes original music by Ohad Talmor. The sound design was by John Colucci and the play was produced and directed by Brian Smith. It was produced for "The Next Big Thing" by executive producer Dean Olsher and co-executive producer Chris Bannon.
