News Reddin's Perpetual Patient Premieres in Chicago May 15 CHICAGO--A new play by the prolific Keith Reddin, author of All the Rage, Brutality of Fact, Life and Limb, and Highest Standard of Living, will debut May 15 at the Theatre School Showcase of DePaul University. The Perpetual Patient is an updated musical version of Moliere's classic The Imaginary Invalid. The title hypochondriac is now a successful business tycoon. Argan arranges his daughter's marriage to a local doctor, despite her love for another man, so that his imaginary ailments will receive ready medical treatment.
