Bobby Cannavale, Judith Ivey and Matthew Modine will appear in Reflecting Rabe: Readings from David Rabe's Work April 15 as part of the Dark Nights at The New Group series.

The 4 PM presentation at the Acorn Theatre on Theatre Row will feature Cannavale, Ivey and Modine reading selections from Rabe's work, from plays to fiction, according to the New Group. Ivey earned a Tony Award for starring in Rabe's Hurlyburly.

The evening is scheduled to coincide with the New Group's world-premiere production of Rabe's An Early History of Fire, which begins previews April 5.

Tony-winning playwright David Rabe's plays include The Basic Training of Pavlo Hummel, Sticks and Bones, The Orphan, In the Boom Boom Room, Streamers, Those the River Keeps, A Question of Mercy, The Dog Problem and The Black Monk.
