Anders Cato stages the two-hander that officially opens June 26. The Last Five Years will run through July 10 on the BTF main stage.

Reiber, who has been seen on Broadway as Elphaba in Wicked as well as in All Shook Up and Brooklyn, appears as Cathy. Stewart, best known for "Guiding Light" and Broadway's Fiddler on the Roof and Cyrano – The Musical, portrays Jaime.

The Last Five Years traces the relationship and marriage of a novelist and an actress. Their courtship, marriage and ultimate break-up are told with one character moving chronologically forward and the other moving backward. The timing of the two stories intersects only once, on their wedding day.

Rick Bertone is musical director. The design team includes Lee Savage (scenic design), Laurie Churba Kohn (costume design), Jeff Davis (lighting design) and Janie Bullard (sound design).

The Last Five Years ran Off-Broadway in 2002. Brown won 2002 Drama Desk Awards for Outstanding Lyrics and Outstanding Score. He received a Tony Award for his score for Parade. His other credits include Songs for a New World, Urban Cowboy and 13.
