News Relatively Speaking Begins Westport Country Playhouse Run July 12 Alan Ayckbourn's farce Relatively Speaking begins performances at the Westport Country Playhouse July 12.

John Tillinger (Broadway's Night Must Fall, The Sunshine Boys, Inherit the Wind) directs the cast of confused lovers that includes Geneva Carr as Ginny, Cecilia Hart as Sheila, James Waterston as Greg and Paxton Whitehead as Philip.

According to press notes, "An unidentified pair of slippers found under a bed leads to a series of hilarious misunderstandings, mistaken identities and alibis between two young lovers and a middle-aged married couple until no one is certain who's in love with whom."

The design team includes James Noone (scenic), Laurie Churba (costume), 2007 Tony winner (for Spring Awakening) Kevin Adams (lighting), Scott Killian (sound) and Christine Catti (production stage manager).

The run is a homecoming of sorts for Relatively Speaking, having made its American premiere at the Westport Country Playhouse in 1970.
