Titled "Boulevard," the motion picture will open in New York and in several other markets July 17, according to EW.com.
Directed by Dito Montiel, the film also features Roberto Aguire, Kathy Baker and Bob Odenkirk.
Williams, according to the entertainment website, portrays a "married but closeted bank manager whose life changes when he picks up a young male hustler (Roberto Aguire)."
Starz Digital is handling the North American rights for the new film.
Williams, who died Aug. 11, 2014, starred in a number of theatrical productions, including Mike Nichols’ 1988 Off-Broadway version of Waiting for Godot, co-starring with Steve Martin; and his own one-man show, Robin Williams: Live on Broadway. In 2011 he made his acting debut on Broadway in the title role of Rajiv Joseph’s drama Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo.
