Classic Arts News Ren_e Fleming and Seiji Ozawa to Premiere New Dutilleux Song Cycle Sept. 6 Soprano Ren_e Fleming with the Saito Kinen Orchestra led by Seiji Ozawa, will give the world premiere of Henri Dutilleux's Le Temps l'Horloge at the Saito Kinen Festival in Matsumoto, Japan on September 6.
Written for Fleming, the vocal cycle set to texts by Jean Tardieu is a joint commission by the Saito Kinen Festival, the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestre National de France.

Also on Setember 6's program are Berlioz's Symphonie fantastique, Dutilleux's Mystre de l'instant (1985-89) and Ravel's Pavane pour une infante d_funte.

Le Temps l'Horloge receives its New York premiere at Carnegie Hall in December with James Levine leading the BSO and Fleming as soloist.
