News Renee Blinkwolt Named Managing Director of Ars Nova Renee Blinkwolt has been named the new managing director of Ars Nova.

Blinkwolt will take up the post Feb. 3, taking over for Jeremy Blocker, who was recently named managing director of New York Theatre Workshop.

Currently the producing director of the Playwrights Realm, Blinkwolt has also served as managing director of Naked Angels, general manager of Two River Theater Company and season producer of Ensemble Studio Theatre.

She holds an MFA in Producing and Theatre Management from Columbia University and a BFA from Carnegie-Mellon University.

"The search committee and the entire board couldn't be more thrilled that Renee is joining the Ars Nova team," Ars Nova co-founder and board president Jenny Steingart said in a statement. "We all immediately felt that Renee's talent and innovative ideas made her an ideal pairing for Jason.
