As many as 500-1,000 performers are expected to attend the auditions for a chance to appear in the iconic rock musical, which follows a group of struggling artists in the AIDS-haunted East Village of the 1990s.
Additional open calls will be held in Los Angeles at the Hollywood United Methodist Church on March 30 from 1:30-4 PM.
Rent features music and lyrics by the late Jonathan Larson. This production, to be directed by Michael Grief, will begin performances July 14 at New World Stages.
