In advance of the Aug. 27 release of the Rent original cast album, Geffen Records has sent a 10-track sampler of its songs to selected radio stations, in hopes they will add them to the playlist.

Included are both versions of "Seasons of Love" -- one with just the original cast, the other with the original cast plus Stevie Wonder playing the harmonica and taking a solo on one of the verses. Roy Hamm of Geffen Records said it will be up to the individual stations which one to play. However, Hamm said there were no plans to release the Wonder cut as a single at this time.

Hamm said the sampler has been sent to "AAA" (Adult Alternative Album) stations -- ones that play Joni Mitchell and Jackson Browne songs -- and National Public Radio. He said if the sampler does will, it will also be distributed to "AC" (Adult Contemporary) stations -- those that play Mariah Carey and other pop stars.

Here are the songs on the sampler:
1. "Seasons of Love" - Stevie Wonder and Original Cast
2. "I'll Cover You"
3. "One Song Glory"
4. "Take Me or Leave" Me>
5. "Rent"
6. "What You Own"
7. "Without You"
8. "Out Tonight"
9. "Seasons of Love" - Original Cast Only
10. "I'll Cover You" - Reprise -- By Andrew Ku
