News Rent to Return to London's Prince of Wales Theatre

As reported by Theatrenow on Nov. 1, Rent is to return to the London stage.

Jonathan Larson's take on Puccini's La Bohème is to return to the Prince of Wales Theatre. When last seen at that theatre — at the end of 2001— the production starred Adam Rickitt and Debbie Kurup. It is expected that Rickitt and Kurup will return to their roles, though this has yet to be confirmed.

Larson's Rent sets the musical in New York's East Village and features AIDS rather than tuberculosis as the disease that affects the lives of the characters. The musical continues to play at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre.
