Other Disney theatre projects reportedly in the works are Pinocchio, directed by Lion King helmer Julie Taymor; and Hoopz, a musical about the rise of the Harlem Globetrotters, co-directed by Kenny Leon and Savion Glover and choreographed by Glover.

Disney's Aida opened at Broadway's Palace Theatre on March 23.
