News Respect La Diva, Celebrating Performers From Beyoncé to Bassey, Heads to West End's Garrick Five decades of iconic divas from Beyoncé to Bassey will be celebrated in Respect La Diva, beginning performances at the West End's Garrick Theatre Sept. 7 prior to an official opening Sept. 8 for a run through Sept. 24.

Conceived and created by Adrian Grant, the creator of the still-running West End Michael Jackson show Thriller Live, it will be hosted by "X-Factor" finalist Andy Abraham (who placed second in the 2005 contest) and headlined by singers Sheila Ferguson (lead singer in the 70s group The Three Degrees), Denise Pearson (Five Star), Katy Setterfield (The One & Only) and Zoe Birkett (West End/Pop Idol), alongside a cast of West End singers, dancers and a live band.

Other divas being celebrated include Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Etta James, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys and Dusty Springfield.

The show is designed by Jonathan Park, with lighting by Paul Moorhouse, sound by Phillip Cluskey with assistant direction/choreography by Racky Plews and is produced and directed by Adrian Grant for Baronet Entertainment.
