Because the productions are Equity showcase contract level, most tickets are $15 — one of New York City's most affordable ways to be part of a potential future theatrical hit.
Among the fully-produced productions, many with Broadway players performing, are The Ballad of Bonnie & Clyde, The Big Time, Nerds://A Musical Software Satire, The Mistress Cycle, Wild Women of Planet Wongo, Feeling Electric, But I'm a Cheerleader, Six Women With Brain Death (Expiring Minds Want to Know), Tom Jones, No Boundaries, Isabelle and the Pretty-Ugly Spell, Yank! and Richard Cory, along with many others.
Broadway performers participating in this year's productions include Cady Huffman, Karen Mason, Matt Bogart, John Cariani, Mary Bond Davis, Anthony Rapp, Amy Spanger, Devon May, Jackie Hoffman and Debbie Gravitte.
A party celebrating the 2005 Festival, with food, drinks, celebrity guests and more, will follow the 8 PM preview performance of The Great American Trailer Park Musical Sept. 12. The show premiered at NYMF in 2004 and is now playing a commercial run at Dodger Stages.
