News Richardson, Welch and Hodges May Star in AMC Political Thriller Miranda Richardson, Christopher Evan Welch and Lauren Hodges will likely be part of a new pilot for AMC television.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the actors are currently in negotiations to star in a yet-to-be-titled political thriller penned by Jason Horwitch. Allen Coulter ("The Sopranos," "Sex in the City") is signed to direct the pilot, which reportedly focuses on a secret society that manipulates world politics and a national think tank whose employees are more than what they seem.

Richardson ("Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire," "Sleepy Hollow") will portray a the widow of a billionaire who dies under mysterious circumstances, with Welch (Festen, The Crucible) and Hodges ("The Architect") as analysts working for the think tank.
