Rio, Always Smiling, a musical by Mario Lago, Walter Pinto and Max Nunes, opens April 17 at The Bank of Brazil Cultural Center Theatre II in Rio.. Rio, Always Smiling was adapted and directed by Luis de Lima, music by Brazilian legends Carmen Miranda and Noel Rosa. Starring Carvalhinho, Nadia Maria and Mario Hermeto.
According to Luiz de Lima, this musical brings us a Rio exactly how it is, lively and funny, using the "wonderful Brazilian popular musical repertory."
