News   Ripley, Cumming, Warren, Thoms and More Sing Horne Songs Sept. 19-20 The Upright Cabaret in Mark's Restaurant in Hollywood, CA, presents two evenings celebrating the work of Lance Horne beginning Sept. 19.

The Sept. 19 and 20 concerts, entitled Open All Night: The Songs of Lance Horne, will begin at 9 PM. Among those scheduled to join composer Horne are Alice Ripley (Next to Normal, Side Show), Jennifer Leigh Warren (Big River, "Lipstick Jungle"), Tom Lowe (Les Misérables at the Hollywood Bowl), Julie Garnye (Actors Fund Hair concert), Tracie Thoms (Rent, "Cold Case") and special guest Alan Cumming (Cabaret). Lance Horne provided vocal arrangements for Little Women on Broadway. He has penned songs for Gypsy of the Year, the Actors Fund benefits and contributed to the Off-Broadway song cycle Songs From an Unmade Bed as well as Three Lost Chords and The $trip. His work has been presented at Joe's Pub, New York Theatre Workshop, The Juilliard School and Lincoln Center. Horne is a graduate of the Juilliard School.
