Tony, Emmy, Oscar, and Grammy winner Rita Moreno, who co-stars in the Netflix reboot of the 1970s Norman Lear sitcom One Day at a Time, has announced a series of lectures and cabaret performances in the next few months.
The singing actor's schedule follows:
January 17: Annenberg Center in Rancho Mirage, CA (Lecture)
February 18: Ridgefield Playhouse in Ridgefield, CT (Cabaret)
February 19: Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, NJ (Cabaret)
February 26: Arcadia Theatre in St. Charles, IL (Cabaret)
March 11: Musco Center in Orange, CA (Lecture)
The multi-talented actor, dancer, and singer is one of only 12 performers to receive all four major American entertainment awards, winning the Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Awards. Her credits span more than six decades, beginning with her Broadway debut at age 13. She has starred on Broadway and on London’s West End; appeared in more than 40 feature films and countless television shows; and performed in numerous regional theatres and in her one-woman show, Life Without Makeup, at the Berkeley Rep.
