Academy Award-winning West Side Story star Rita Moreno will join the Boston Pops July 3 and 4 for the symphony’s annual Fireworks Spectacular on the Charles River Esplanade.

Moreno, who starred as Anita in the 1961 film adaptation of the classic Broadway musical, will be on hand to pay tribute to West Side Story composer Leonard Bernstein—one of the many centennial celebrations celebrating the late composer.

The concerts will also feature “Fight Song” singer-songwriter Rachel Platten, MacArthur Genius and musician Rhiannon Giddens, and folk American duo Amy Ray and Emily Saliers of the Indigo Girls. Keith Lockhart conducts.
