News Riverfront Theater's Inaugural Season in Chicago Will Feature Music of ABBA, Elton John and Michael Jackson Riverfront Theater has announced the lineup for its inaugural season, which will kick off May 30 and take place along the Chicago River inside a 70-foot tall, 22,000-square foot temperature-controlled tent.

The summer season will begin with The Twelve Tenors, a group of singers performing standards from the opera, pop and swing worlds as well as timeless Irish standards. The Twelve Tenors will run May 30-June 3. The dance shows Dancing Queen, featuring the music of ABBA, and Spirit of Dance, taking audiences on a world tour of dance, will run June 6-June 24 and June 27-July 15, respectively.

The season will also include La Soiree, an "adults only" cabaret-burlesque-circus sideshow, July 18-Aug. 5; Rocket Man, a celebration of the career of Sir Elton John, Aug. 8-26; and Man In the Mirror, featuring the music of Michael Jackson, Sept. 12-30.
