News Roasts, Toasts and Tributes Series to Honor Cabaret Personalities A new series that celebrates some of New York's finest cabaret personalities will kick off Feb. 26 at Off-Broadway's St. Clement's Theater.

Entitled Roasts, Toasts and Tributes, the 8 PM evening will celebrate Jamie deRoy, the stage and TV personality who for 15 years has produced the variety show "Jamie deRoy and Friends." The tribute, which will be co-hosted by Carolyn Montgomery, Jay Rogers and Julie Reyburn, will feature performances from several Broadway and cabaret favorites. Upcoming tributes will honor Barbara and Scott Siegel (March 26), Michael Nelsen (April 30), Julie Wilson (May 21), Jim Caruso (June 25) and Sydney Myer (July 16).

Each of the tributes will feature the presentation of the Sidney Myer Award for Excellence in Cabaret. Myer, a celebrated performer, is also the long-time booking manager for the West 46th Street cabaret Don't Tell Mama.
