News   Rob Marshall and Ted Snowden Receive Genie Awards
Director-choreographer Rob Marshall and producer Ted Snowden have both won Genie Awards, given annually by The Genesius Guild to people "who have made extraordinary contributions."

The two will be honored at the Tribeca Rooftop in Manhattan on Nov. 10. Kathleen Marshall, Rob's sister, will direct some live entertainment. Marshall directed the film version of Chicago which became a worldwide commercial success and Oscar winner. In the theatre, he directed and/or choreographed Cabaret, Little Me and Damn Yankees.

Snowden has produced such plays as The Elephant Man, The Twilight of the Golds, Snakebit, Last Sunday in June, Little Ham and Things You Shouldn't Say Past Midnight.
