Tony nominee Robert Cuccioli (Jekyll & Hyde), Rita Harvey (Fiddler on the Roof), and Lauren Cohn (Mamma Mia!) will lead the cast of the New York regional premiere of Fun Home at The White Plains Performing Arts Center this fall. They will take on the roles of Bruce, Helen, and Alison, respectively.

Performances of the Tony-winning musical will begin October 12 at WPPAC and continue through October 28.

Completing the cast will be Catherine Ashmore Bradley and Serena Parrish sharing the role of Small Alison, Wyatt Cirbus (Christian), Elliot Fishman (John), Jessica Mosher (Joan), Megan O’Callaghan (Medium Alison), and Ian Smith (Roy/Mark/Pete/Bobby).

Winner of five Tony Awards, Fun Home tells the story of graphic novelist Alison as she attempts to piece together the story of her coming out and her complicated relationship with her father. The musical features music by Jeanine Tesori, book and lyrics by Lisa Kron, and a story based on the graphic novel by Alison Bechdel.

“Robert [Cuccioli] was a perfect fit for the role of Bruce [Alison’s father]. His breadth of experience with complex characters will allow him to truly embody the role. Add to the cast two other seasoned Broadway actors, Lauren Cohn as Alison and Rita Harvey as Helen [Alison’s mother], along with the rest of this phenomenal company of professionals, and this is sure to be an exciting production,” says Stephen Ferri, executive producer of WPPAC.

Fun Home will be directed by Amy Griffin with musical direction by Stephen Ferri and choreography by Lexie Fennell Frare.

The production will feature scenic design by Christopher and Justin Swader, lighting design by Jamie Roderick, costume design by Molly Seidel, sound design by Emma Wilk, and stage management by Kellie McMenemon.
